On April 4, 2024, Axel Hoffmann presented the inaugural Sellmyer Lecture at the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. David Sellmyer had worked for almost 50 years at the University of Nebraska and had a wide-ranging impact on magnetism and nanoscience research.
